Summer Camp Guidelines

• Camp starts at 9:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm unless enrolled in Pre or After (Extended) Care.

• Camp begins promptly at 9:30am. We suggest campers get there 10 minutes early in order to avoid crowding. A summer camp representative will be at the drop off zone from 9:00 am until 9:35 am.

• Parents who drop off their child/children during Pre-Care hours must accompany them into the facility.

• Children staying in After (Extended)-Care must be picked up by their parents in the facility.

• Counselor to camper ratio is 1:8.

• Campers will be given their official “Wise Choice Summer Camp” shirts or other camp gear on the first day of camp.

• Campers are required to wear their summer camp shirt everyday. Additional summer camp shirts and products may be purchased during registration. 

• Campers will be provided with lunch Monday-Fridays.  Some field trips may have the option of purchasing souvenirs at the camper’s expense.  

• Campers may purchase additional snacks/food at the camp.

• Campers must bring appropriate attire on pool days (see schedule for pool days) along with a change of clothing.  Sun screen is highly recommended for all campers.

• Campers that do not know how to swim are not allowed in the University of Miami pool (No floaties or life savers allowed in the pool).

• All campers are required to participate with the weekly presentations and performances.

• We expect all our campers to be courteous and respectful to each other.

• All campers must follow directions at all times.

• We recommend all parents to print out the daily activities schedule (Schedules will be emailed to parents one week prior to camp).

• All summer camp participants are eligible for 50% OFF of one month of tutoring at Wise Choice Tutoring Center.  Offer valid until December 31, 2010.
